Fox Run Cottage

For this rural New Jersey project, the client wished to add an outdoor space that was both entertaining and relaxing. The newly renovated hunting cabin evoked a feeling of traveling back in time so we wanted our landscape materials to look as though they were there for decades. We hand selected indigenous granite from the surrounding woodlands to use in the walls and for aesthetic accents throughout the landscape. Large weathered bluestone slabs were used to create the upper and lower outdoor terraces. Working with the natural grade, a pond and waterfall were placed to tie the terraces together – both visually and functionally.
