Kensington Pool

The small level wooded area in the rear of this Basking Ridge, New Jersey, home provided the perfect setting for this client’s pool. By using the soil from the pool excavation, an elevated planting area was created around the pool providing privacy from the neighboring homes while allowing us to raise the pool a few steps above the rest of the rear yard. Three steps lead you through a low stone wall to the private poolside garden. The steps were artfully placed to frame a view of the pool waterfall from the house. Within the garden a secluded spa sits along the stream.
