Charolais Farm

This Mendham, New Jersey, residence sits atop a steep 10-acre hilltop offering unparalleled views of the Somerset Hills. On this beautiful estate, the client wanted to add a pool and pool house that would complement the residence. The home’s length and many exits from the interior spaces created a need to design a series of walkways connecting the outdoor spaces with the indoor rooms. Artfully placed sculptures were located within the gardens as focal points along these garden paths. The large pool sits perfectly onto the sloping rear yard and the pool house serves this area with all the necessary complements of incredible pool living experience during the day or in the evening. Subtle outdoor lighting accents the landscape beautifully. An extensive plant palette provides color and interest all year long.
